2018 NCAA Tournament Final Four;

2018 Missouri Valley Conference Coach of the Year;
2015 College Basketball Invitational (CBI) Champions!

Loyola was the second-best team in the nation at committing the fewest fouls per game, and was the leader in defensive efficiency for the entire country. Moser shares three critical areas to his team's help-oriented defensive system that will help you challenge shots at the rim.

• On-Ball Defense: Teach your players how to closeout, guard the drive, and contest shots without fouling using
. a breakdown drill with simple teaching points that your players will always remember.
• Help Defense: Use a 3-on-3 drill to help your players understand the positioning and technique required to help
. a teammate when the opponent drives to the rim.
• Switching: See how you can incorporate switching concepts into your team defense to take away your
. opponent's screening actions while minimizing the errors that will beat you.

' Sean Miller's Father and Son Basketball Workout '
2 Training Video with Sean Miller, Arizona Head Coach

Sean Miller's Father and Son Basketball Workout
2 Training Video with Sean Miller

with Sean Miller, University of Arizona Head Coach;
2017 Pac-12 Coach of the Year - 3x Pac-12 Coach of the Year;
2017 Pac-12 Tournament and Regular Season Champions - led Arizona to six conference titles overall;
former Head Coach at Xavier, 3x A-10 champions; 2008 A-10 Coach of the Year

In this great on-court instructional training video Sean Miller teaches his sons how to develop better ball-handling skills. With two-ball dribbling drills the kids go through the same challenging workout that the Arizona Wildcat Guards go through. While difficult at first this workout will eventually help the younger ball-players become significantly better dribblers, especially with their weak hand.

... Dribble Past Your Defender with These Skill Moves ! ...

Miller's recruiting has improved. From not being ranked in the top 25 recruiting classes by ESPN in 2010, Arizona's 2011 recruiting class was ranked 7th, notably signing Nick Johnson and Josiah Turner. For 2012, Arizona secured three players in the top nine of the ESPNU 100, with all four newly signed players within the top 36. This has cemented Arizona as the No. 1 signing class nationally, surpassing Kentucky who held the No. 1 spot 2010 and 2011,

Chris Mack: Rebounding Training Video

University of Louisville Head Coach;
former Xavier University Head Coach;
2018 Big East Coach of the Year; 2018 Big East Champions;
2016 USBWA Henry Iba National Coach of the Year award winner;
2011 Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year; 2x Atlantic 10 Conference Champs (2010, '11);
2009-10 Basketball Times Rookie Coach of the Year,
tied the school record for the most wins ever by an Xavier rookie head coach (26).

Open Practice with Morgan Wootten

Team Rebounding

In order to win on the boards, a team must have a level of toughness instilled and a desire to get to the ball before the opponent. Five drills are displayed that Coach Mack uses to mold his teams into hard-nosed, physically superior teams. All involve either an individual battle for a rebound or a battle in the trenches, with most also incorporating an offensive element. Teaching points prevalent throughout the drill package include:

• The "hit and seal" approach to individual rebounding
• Protecting the basketball (toughness with the ball) while under intense pressure

• Battling for offensive position in the post
• Containing the dribble with intense, on-ball pressure

Govinda Patterson's Revolutionary Basketball Better Balance Techniques

Basketball Training Video:
Govinda Patterson's Revolutionary Basketball Better Balance Techniques

From Govinda Patterson on Facebook
By Govinda Patterson
Read more here: ' The Man Who Wants to Change the Way Basketball Is Played ' by Govinda Patterson

This revolutionary ideas combine basketball strategies with techniques learned in the martial arts. I call this system the “Better Balance Techniques.

It doesn’t matter how big or strong or fast you are. If you know your center of balance and you use it to control your opponent’s balance, then you have a big advantage.

Why would you play off-balance if you didn’t have to?. I think what I’m teaching can help shape the way people play the game.

I want to transform the fundamental footwork of basketball with an array of offensive moves and defensive stances developed from martial arts-based principles of leverage.

I envision doing this by teaching my concepts—and the offensive and defensive schemes specifically designed to employ them—to an NBA team and watching it win a championship with them.

I do understand I’m asking for a lot.

Govinda Patterson's Revolutionary Basketball Better Balance Techniques<br />
In this Image by courtesy of Govinda Patterson presented by eBA Stats Basketball Statistics Analysis .

I grew up playing basketball in and around Mount Shasta, Calif. I was an all-star post player in high school and grew to be 6 feet 5 1/2 inches tall, and I played junior college ball at the College of the Siskiyous before a back injury prematurely ended my career. Along the way, I also had dabbled in the martial arts, including aikido, judo and karate, and I earned a brown belt in Kung Fu San Soo.

I didn’t realize it at first that what I was doing was combining what I had learned in (martial arts training) and applying it to basketball. After I got hurt I couldn’t play, so I thought about the game all the time, and it just made so much more sense. The center of balance - knowing your center of gravity - was the key. The techniques help so much with post offense, post defense and rebounding.

Govinda Patterson's Revolutionary Basketball Better Balance Techniques by eBAsketball

I did some voluntary and assistant coaching in California and Utah before moving to the Islands to be with my girlfriend, Lianna. I’d lived in Mililani the past three years and I am now trying to promote his idea to NBA coaching staffs. I'd talked with nine NBA teams and one WNBA team, but so far I havn’t been able to get past an introductory stage and all the way to the head coach.

Every team has loved what I’ve shown them, but unfortunately I haven’t been able to see any head coaches yet. It boggles my mind. I would think that any coach who wants to win would be willing to see me for 10 minutes. I realize that the NBA has hundreds of people calling them, and they may think this is just another crazy person calling. (But) I think this (technique) definitely creates a chance to give their players an advantage. Even if it’s only a couple of rebounds a game, it’s worth it!.

Basketball legend Bill Walton helped me in my journey. He watched and listened so intently, and said he agreed with everything I said, and then he wrote me a great letter of recommendation. It’s opened so many doors.

“He has some valuable things to offer. I don’t know if all of it works, but there are some things you could use. Looking at how he connects with players, there’s something there. The problem is, you have to be a big-time coach to get your team to sign off on the expense of bringing a guy in for two weeks from Hawaii. And then there’s the time commitment. It’s just easier to say no. What he needs is the chance, once and for all, to succeed or fail.”, says finally former Sacramento Kings head coach Keith Smart.
