Statistician's Digest: Who is the More Efficient Scorer ?
... Two players, same league, both of them averaged same number pf points per game:
Player 1 had an eff. fg% of .511, while Player 2 had a lower rating of .478.
True Shooting %: Player 1 shot .549, while Player 2 had a higher rating of .559 ...
In such a conditions who was the more efficient scorer according to the eBA Basketball Statistics Creative Analysis System ? ...
eFG% quantifies scoring efficiency from the field and is the primary factor for three pointers, whilst TS% quantifies scoring efficiency including everything and is the primary factor for both three pointers and free throws.
In such conditions of your example and according to the eBA Basketball Statistics Creative Analysis System, Player 2 was the more efficient scorer.
