Statistician's Digest: The Second Assist & the Potential Assists Statistics
"...Why any other system out of the eBA Basketball Statistics Analysis System applies the potential assists, the FGA assists and the second assist ( called hockey assists ) ? ...
That's right ! The second assist, the potential assists and the FGA assists concepts are developed and tracked in the eBA Basketball Statistics System from the very beginning of the eBA Stats Group ( almost 20 years ago ! ). This question is discussed in this topic: Assists Statistics: Cases & Register in this board: Statistics & Statisticians ( see the link below ) where we'll continue with the answer: I am convinced about the register of the second and potential assists to understand the game better even if maybe not so important to the metrics and the evaluation formulas.
